London’s restaurant scene is constantly changing however, there are a few restaurants that are able to maintain, or even improve over the years. These are my personal favourites, based on both the vibe, and food.

Kai Mayfair

(£££) Has gained one michelin star from 2009 and has kept it till 2017, my favourite Chinese restaurant. The pecking duck is a must order. Upscale, excellent food and a calm atmosphere.

La Petite Maison

(£££) Extremely good food, literally everything on the menu tastes good. Great service and excellent wine. Perfect for all occasions, date, friends, family.

Chotto Matte

This is one of the restaurants where the vibe plays a big role in my decision putting it on this list. I love coming here before a night out because the energy is super pumped on the weekend (book a table downstairs) and prepares me for the rest of the night! The Flore de Manzano cocktail is a must order. Food is great, atmosphere even better!

Barrafina

(££) Located in Soho on Dean Street, no reservation policy. You can order a few bites while waiting in line (the line is in the restaurant so don’t worry about freezing outside). Spanish tapas concept, the wine is great. My favourite dishes were the Padron peppers, Tuna tartare, Filet & Gambas al Ajilo. I loved the whole experience and being able to order while in line.
