Located in Abu Tig Marina, open only for dinner. It’s safe to say Pier 88 is the best restaurant in El Gouna. It’s usually fully booked especially during peak season (New years & Egyptian national holidays). The atmosphere is extremely fun, usually groups continue drinking after dinner and the music gets a bit louder. The staff is also very entertaining once the kitchen is closed.

Located in Kafr El Gouna, owned by Italians. Very good pizzas made in a wood oven – Quality has become inconsistent.
If you’re going out to sea, this is the perfect place to order food from to takeaway. You can also sit there but I prefer take-out. It’s open for lunch & dinner. I recommend:
Although this isn’t located in El Gouna, locals often go to Mahmya Island by boat. It can take from 40mins – 1 hour depending on the boat you are on (Drop me a DM on instagram if you’d like to rent a boat). Even though an hour may sound too long, it’s really worth the trip. The Island has a fully functional restaurant and the bar only serves beer and wine. It’s recommended you bring your own bottles and pay corkage, as for the food I recommend the following:
