(Park Avenue) Definitely top of my list. Greek cuisine. Great bloody marys and excellent service. Since it can get a bit pricey, if you’re on a budget you can go for lunch on weekdays ($25.15) or for their late night menu ($25.15) on Thursdays to Saturdays. Make sure to book a table, or call just to make sure there’s space if you’re last minute. I recommend:
(Downtown) Great Food and Cocktails. Book a table in advance. I recommend:
(Saint-Henri) Cute little restaurant, excellent service. Book a table as it usually gets fully booked on the weekends. Sitting by the bar is great as well (if you’re only 2 people, 3 if you ask for the corner).
(Little Burgundy) Perfect for a late night eat, their kitchen is open till 2am everyday. You can order food to the bar as well!
(Old Port) Great place for a date or to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday or graduation dinner. I recommend:
(Old Port) Great Italian restaurant.
(Old Port) Mozzarella bar, love the place and the food! I recommend:
Nice vibe, great for celebrating a birthday. The raw food is prepared at the bar. Service is excellent, I liked sitting by the bar or I recommend a table near the Dj (it’s more lively). I recommend:
(Rue Saint Laurent) Excellent Italian restaurant which turns into a nightclub at around 11:30/12. I like going with a big group and having a family style meal. I recommend:
This red wine is excellent, sorry about the blurry picture!
(Place des Arts) Located in Place des Arts with a lovely outdoor seating in summer. I recommend:
(Downtown) Authentic Japanese restaurant. I recommend:
(Downtown) Great spot for brunch and dinner. I recommend:
(Rue Ontario) Fast food burger joint, really good! I recommend:
(Griffintown) Located in Griffin town, the outdoor seating is really nice. I recommend:
(Laurier) French cuisine, great place for lunch, dinner & you can have brunch here on the weekends.
(Laurier) Excellent Japanese restaurant. If you’re into Omakase – give it a try here!
(Little Italy) Their food is great. Lovely seating area in summer, sometimes there’s a man playing the accordion in his balcony across the street adding to the experience.
(Little Italy) Bring your own wine. Super casual, great pizza!
(Downtown) Perfect for a quick lunch break or getting something to go. This isn’t a restaurant setting so no bookings. I recommend:
Great place to get a healthy salad. You also have the option of creating your own, choosing from a wide variety of ingredients. If you’re in a hurry, just have it to go.
Note: It is advised to book everywhere in advance just to be on the safe side, if you’ve come by this list last minute, just give the restaurant a call to check if they have space so you don’t go all the way for nothing.
Enjoy & let me know what you think/if you have any questions in the comments!
