Hotel Victoria restaurant

Amazing food in the Hotel Victoria Restaurant located in Glion Caux. Perfect lunch spot on a sunny day. It’s open for dinner as well though. I come here specifically for the Emince de Veau, its quite a big portion though so I sometimes share it with a friend. The Filet is also good here.

MP’s Grill

Located in the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace. Excellent food and great wine selection. I don’t like their starters so I just get straight to the main course here. I recommend:

• Chateau Briand
• Filet Mignon
• Truffle Fries
• Mashed Potatoes

Rouvenaz

Okay food, go for a casual quick meal. I recommend:

• Pizza
• Salad

What to do?

Kayaking/canoeing/water-sports

In the summer you can rent Kayaks, canoes or speed boats at the lake.

Montreux Casino

An okay size casino, free drinks while you play. Gets crowded on the weekends.

Cinema

Where to go out at night?

Black Pearl or Millesime

The only places to go out (student central), commercial music (horrible). I wouldn’t recommend either, especially Millesime but I’m just writing them so you’re aware of the options.
