Entering Santa Clara you’ll pass by Che Guevara’s museum and statue, where he was buried. Playing a pivotal role in the Cuban revolution he’s an important figure in Cuban history. I’d recommend briefly passing through Santa Clara but I personally wouldn’t stay the night there.

Mausoleo de Che Guevara

Entering Santa Clara you’ll pass by Che Guevara’s museum and statue, where he was buried. You can visit the museum inside which is quite interesting or just look at the statue outside and the blocks with inscriptions. Even though we didn’t go inside we learned about the history from Maikel.

Teatro La Caridad

Beautiful theatre, art on the ceilings is very pretty.

Catedral de Santa Clara de Asis

It’s not a must, but if you have the time you can pass by this church in santa clara
