Visit Berlin

I’ve been to Berlin twice for the ITB trade show but despite the busy schedule, I tried to explore as much as I could. I’ve included recommendations that were made to me in addition to what I tried and liked. Enjoy and let me know in the comments if you’ve tried anything you think is worth adding.

Where to Eat in Berlin

Dudu

Japanese/Vietnamese restaurant. Extremely fresh fish. Sharing table concept with benches. Pieces are big so be careful not to over-order. I recommend:

  • Seafood bowl (includes white tuna, salmon and red tuna sashimi, rice, guacamole, rioja, freshwater shrimp, shrimp tempura)
  • Crunchy Dudu roll
  • Cripsy Tiger (favourite)
  • Nigiri or sashimi

Bocca di Bacco

Italian cuisine, excellent service. I think all the dishes are great as we were satisfied with our meal. We had:

  • Burrata
  • Beef carpaccio
  • Spaghetti Pomodoro
  • Peppered Beef Filet
  • Rack of Lamb

KaDeWe

I’d recommend this if you’d like to grab a quick bite during your shopping day. The sushi and sashimi was great!

I have a short list of some restaurants that were recommended to me:

Prince

Thai restaurant. Try their cocktails as well, they have amazing mixologists.

Sasaya

Recommend to walk in as they are known not to answer the phone

Grill Royale

Excellent grilled meats and service

Katz Orange

Super chilled, great cocktails and good food.

What to do in Berlin

Berlin wall

Really nice walk during the day or at sunset.

A nice souvenir of your trip to Berlin, the photobooths are scattered all around the city.
