Luxury? – Palazzo Parigi

The Palazzo Parigi is my number 1 choice.

Located in the Brera area which is filled with excellent restaurants and shops. Walking distance from the Duomo and Via Montenapoleone. Beautiful rooms, excellent service – you’re guaranteed a lovely experience. Although the Palazzo may seem pricey for some, it’s well worth it.

Business? – Principe di Savoia

Part of the Dorchester collection, Principe di Savoia offers quite a traditional Milanese experience. The perfect choice for a business trip or if you’re going for a short visit. Location is great – near the Brera area and a 20-25 min walk to the Duomo. Prices are acceptable and service is excellent – if you’re going to be in Milan often ask for their corporate rates!

Long stay? – Brera apartments

Fell in love with the city and planning a longer trip? Check out Brera Apartments. The company has many apartments in different buildings, ranging from studios, lofts to 3 bedroom apartments. Housekeeping comes every 3 days, replenishing your stock of water (1 sparkling water, and 1 still water), Nespresso capsules, bathroom amenities, towels, and changing your bedsheets. Tip: always try to negotiate the rates especially if you’re staying for a long time – the earlier you book the better the rate.
